Cherry Cough

Cherry Cough THCA descends from Cherry Pie genetics crossed with Strawberry Cough, blending the best of both worlds: the lung-expanding cough characteristic of classic Strawberry Cough with the deep indica sedation and cherry sweetness of Cherry Pie. Originally bred as a CBD cultivar nearly a decade ago, this strain has been reintroduced in THCA form to deliver the full psychoactive experience while preserving its signature pepper-and-cherry terpene profile. The strain sits firmly in the indica-dominant hybrid category with strong OG Kush family ties.

Terpene Profile

Caryophyllene leads the terpene profile with spicy, peppery notes that contribute anti-inflammatory effects and body relaxation. Myrcene follows close behind, amplifying sedation and delivering earthy, musky undertones that deepen the calming experience. Limonene and pinene round out the blend, adding bright citrus highlights and mental clarity that balance the heavier indica effects. Together, these terpenes create a complex aroma of sweet cherry, earthy spice, and subtle gas.

Growing Process

Cherry Cough THCA is cultivated indoors under full-spectrum LED lighting in small, hand-tended batches. Each plant receives individual attention throughout its life cycle, from vegetative growth through flowering, and is hand-trimmed to preserve delicate trichomes. After harvest, buds are cold-cured at 60°F for 14+ days to develop full flavor and potency, then sealed in nitrogen-flushed packaging to lock in freshness. No synthetic pesticides or plant growth regulators are ever used.

What to Expect

Effects typically onset within 5-10 minutes of consumption, beginning with a subtle warming sensation in the chest (the signature “cough” characteristic) followed by gradual full-body relaxation. Peak effects arrive around 30-45 minutes in, delivering deep physical sedation, mental haze, and tension relief that lasts 2-3 hours. This is a potent strain best reserved for evening use when you have nowhere to be. New users should start with half their normal dose and wait to assess tolerance.

Storage & Handling

Store your Cherry Cough THCA in a cool, dark place between 60-70°F, keeping the bag sealed when not in use. Properly stored, your flower will maintain peak freshness and potency for 6-8 months.
