Blood Diamond

Blood Diamond is an OG Kush phenotype that has been selectively bred for high CBD content and classic indica characteristics. Originating from California medical cannabis genetics, this strain preserves the legendary earthy, piney aroma and deeply relaxing effects of OG Kush while maintaining federal compliance with less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. The distinctive red pistils that give the strain its name are a result of anthocyanin expression during the flowering cycle.

Terpene Profile

Myrcene dominates with earthy, musky notes that promote deep relaxation and sedation, forming the base of the classic OG aroma. Caryophyllene adds spicy, peppery undertones and targets CB2 receptors for anti-inflammatory and stress-relief benefits. Limonene brings bright citrus accents that uplift mood and balance the heavier body effects. Together, these terpenes create the signature OG Kush profile of earthy pine with citrus and spice.

Growing Process

Blood Diamond CBD is cultivated indoors under full-spectrum LED lighting in small, hand-tended batches. Each plant is monitored throughout its growth cycle to encourage maximum resin production and anthocyanin expression in the pistils. After harvest, buds are hand-trimmed to preserve trichome integrity and cold-cured at 60°F for over two weeks to enhance flavor and smoothness. The cured flower is nitrogen-flushed and sealed immediately to lock in freshness. No synthetic pesticides or growth regulators are ever applied.

What to Expect

Effects begin within 5-10 minutes when smoked or vaped, starting with a gentle wave of physical relaxation that eases muscle tension from your shoulders down through your body. Around 15-20 minutes in, mental calm sets in, bringing clarity and focus without any intoxication or grogginess. Total duration is 1-2 hours, making this ideal for daytime stress relief, afternoon unwinding, or evening relaxation when you need to stay clear-headed. This is a non-intoxicating CBD strain that keeps you fully functional.
